Congratulations to Year 5 for the outstanding results achieved in the ToKalon competition!
During Pi Week, Year 5 participated in the local selections of the “Mathematics for All” competition organised by the Tokalon association. The challenges were incredibly difficult, with very tight time limits, but the students did an excellent job and qualified for the finals in all three competitions: one team for arithmetic, two teams for geometry, and even the ENTIRE class for the Set game (ranking among the top four in all of Italy!).
On the 17th and 18th of May, at Cinecittà world in Rome, after incredible emotions, thrilling finals, tears, hugs, and unforgettable moments, they won two fourth places and one first place!
This is proof that maths can and should be a wonderful game, and that… together, we are unstoppable!
